People smugglers are laughing at the Government's proposed Malaysian Solution, saying it's doomed to sink, as they prepare to send thousands more asylum seekers to our shores.

Its president, Maung Kyaw Nu, will also call for the setting up of an inquiry by the international media to look into the number of victims in the latest flare up between the ethnic minority and the state, as well as a plea for the United Nations to lend a hand at the Plight of Rohingya Solution Conference to be held in Kuala Lumpur today. The conference is organised by the Perdana Global Peace Foundation. "We are here together to seek justice, to find the killers and haul them to the international court. This is the only solution. Source from:Rohingya bloer.   December 2: BRUNEI is in a unique position to address the plight of the Muslim   Rohingya   people in Myanmar who are facing persecution and ethnic cleansing, the chief of the   Organisation   of Islamic Cooperation ( OIC ) said yesterday. "Brunei being both a member of  OIC  and ASEAN is in a unique position to help address the violation of human rights and the plight of the  Rohingya  people, particularly (since) they are suffering from ethnic cleansing," said Ekmeleddin   Ihsanoglu  at a press conference following a public lecture he gave at  Universiti  Brunei Darussalam  ( UBD ). Ihsanoglu  is in the Sultanate on a three-day visit, where he also met with His Majesty the Sultan and Yang  Di-Pertuan  of Brunei  Darussalam . The  OIC  secretary-general said the monarch expressed particular concern for the violence between Muslims and Buddhists in the coastal  Rakhine  state of Myanmar. "We had a very fruitful meeting.

High Level Diplomats Visit Burmese Refugee Camps in Bangladesh

Cox's Bazar: A 19-member delegation comprised of diplomats from western countries has recently visited the Burmese Muslim refugee camps in southeastern Cox's Bazar District in Bangladesh.  The team visited the Kutupalong and Nayapara official refugee camps in Cox's Bazar on 6 April, 2011, and assessed the living conditions, health, and education of the refugees, said a refugee from Kutupalong Camp. "The delegates inspected the sheds and had some interviews with the refugees about our living condition, health, and education, and also asked us if we are willing to go back to Burma," said the refugee.
